The brokerage firm claims to be registered in Mauritius and lists its headquarters address in that jurisdiction. However, its legitimacy raises serious questions, as copies of certificates and licenses, as well as links to regulatory registries, are missing from this intermediary’s website. Our objective review of 9Cents’ operations will reveal what kind of broker this is — one that does not provide financial reports or auditor audits. Can you trust a project with such an opaque background with your funds?
How to Trade
The company offers access to CFD trading on currency pairs, indices, and other assets via the MetaTrader 5 platform. Traders can choose from three account types. The features of the 9Cents platform are as follows:
- Minimum deposit of $100.
- Spreads are advertised as “ultra-low.”
- There are no trading commissions.
Please note that a demo account is available at 9cents.com. In addition, the 9Cents Academy offers free trading training to clients of all skill levels.
Additionally, a currency pair quote ticker is available. Finally, support is advertised as 24/7, which is convenient for traders in different time zones.
9Cents Vital Info
Although the broker’s domain name was registered in 1998, the project itself did not begin operating until 2024. It is likely that the platform’s creators simply purchased an old domain with a history in order to artificially inflate their perceived experience in the market. Meanwhile, the platform’s actual operating history is only about two years.
The parent company, 9Cents Financials Ltd, registered in Mauritius under number 2024-00422, claims to have an address in this offshore jurisdiction. However, this does not mean it holds a brokerage license from the local regulator, the FSC. Instead of official documents, the company offers a boilerplate statement claiming that their “dedicated team of experts is always ready to help.” Is everything in order with an intermediary that hides behind a generic offshore registration address and operates without oversight from regulatory authorities?

I’m convinced this is a scam; there are other brokers that are more reliable for investors, offer better terms, and allow you to withdraw funds without any issues!!!
Don’t believe the ads: it’s impossible to make money with them. I lost $200 in a single day because of their unstable trading terminal. Stay away from this company. And under no circumstances should you deposit money into an account
Overall, I’m happy with my decision to start working with this broker. It’s a modern company offering good trading conditions and an intuitive platform. It was very pleasant to open a trading account with them and immediately feel the support from the team. From the very first days, I had access to useful information, educational materials, and consultations, which helped me quickly master the intricacies of trading. Thanks to their competent support and high-quality trading conditions, I’ve managed to achieve a stable income. When you have experts on hand who are ready to help and offer advice, the learning and trading process becomes much easier and more effective. In my opinion, this is exactly what sets 9cents apart from other companies.
I’ve gotten the distinct impression that this firm artificially creates favorable conditions on the demo account to lure traders in, and when they switch to a live account, they alter the trading environment so that it becomes extremely difficult to make a profit. In my experience, they follow a typical pattern: first, they create the illusion of quality, and then, when you trade with real money, you’re confronted with the harsh reality at 9cents.com.
Scammers prey on trusting people and inexperienced traders, luring money out of them; be careful! There’s no regulation here, and they’re based offshore - so they can do whatever they want
The company actively uses standard tactics typical of brokers with a dubious reputation to lure novice traders and strip them of their investments. Their main methods are varied. First, they promise high returns with minimal investment and “easy trading” thanks to high leverage of up to 1:400. Second, they emphasize training and “support” in the form of consultations, trading strategies, and trade recommendations — this creates the illusion of professional assistance, although the main goal is to convince clients to trade more actively and take on greater risks. Furthermore, THE FREEDOM TO USE ANY TRADING STRATEGIES — SUCH AS SCALPING, HEDGING, AND TRADING BOTS — SEEMS ATTRACTIVE AT FIRST GLANCE, BUT IN REALITY IS OFTEN ACCOMPANIED BY MANIPULATION OF SPREADS AND ORDER EXECUTION. While advertising what they claim are the best conditions on the market and positioning themselves as a “revolution” in trading, 9CENTS is actually focused on aggressive marketing and quickly attracting deposits. At the same time, the company is not regulated even by the loosely supervising financial authority — the FSC (Mauritius) — which provides no protection for client capital whatsoever. Withdrawing funds from 9CENTS is fraught with serious difficulties, as my own experience attests. If you want to see this for yourself, simply read independent reviews and stories from former clients to understand that trading with this broker carries extremely high risks for your capital.
Hey, traders, I’ve finally cut ties with these scammers. They’re champions when it comes to connection issues and order execution delays; they just need to attract traders who make deposits. Sooner or later, all traders will stop making a profit because 9CENTS will start creating problems to steal your money. I’m speaking from personal experience, and that’s exactly why my mission is to warn as many people as possible so that the same thing that happened to me doesn’t happen to you guys.
Pay attention to the additional features the company offers, as well as the available educational materials. 9CENTS provides educational materials for traders of all skill levels: from beginners to more experienced traders. Everyone will find information suited to their level, which makes the process of learning to trade as convenient and straightforward as possible. In addition, the broker offers analytical support. There’s no need to overload your charts with dozens of indicators yourself: traders have access to ready-made analytical reviews and recommendations that can be used as an additional filter when making decisions. With this set of tools, even a beginner trader can quickly build a stable trading system on 9cents.com, while reducing the number of losing trades and increasing the percentage of profitable ones.
What attracted me: zero commissions, a demo account, virtually zero spreads between bid and ask prices, and access to MetaTrader 5 - it all sounded tempting. I decided to open a trading account with them and try my hand at the Forex markets. At first, everything seemed to be going well. I made well-considered trading decisions and even started making a steady profit. However, a real surprise awaited me when I tried to withdraw my profits. MY ACCOUNT WAS SUDDENLY BLOCKED. WHEN I CONTACTED CUSTOMER SUPPORT AT 9CENTS.COM, THEY SENT ME STANDARD, BOILERPLATE RESPONSES: THEY CLAIMED THAT I HAD VIOLATED THE TERMS OF THE USER AGREEMENT, EVEN THOUGH I HAD STRICTLY FOLLOWED ALL TRADING RULES. I was not provided with any real evidence of my “violations.” Instead, the staff simply referred to internal documents - which, as it turned out, I had automatically agreed to upon registration - and informed me that my funds would be confiscated by the broker. The result: I was never able to withdraw my $3K
This company is a total fraud!!!! They took €2,680 from my account — that is, they won’t let me withdraw it. Stay away from this firm!!! The charts don’t match reality — it’s a total SCAM!!!!!!
I want to make it clear to everyone: this is a company that won’t let you withdraw your money. I personally encountered this situation through a friend. CENTS lured him in with standard advertising promises. The scammers promised him training, support from “analysts,” and talked about opportunities to make quick money on Forex and cryptocurrencies. It’s a classic fraud: to start making a profit, he had to fund his account. My friend was too trusting and deposited money. As a result, he simply lost $16K, and he has no chance of getting that money back. Everything looks great, but the outcome is terrible: a lot of money is gone :(
The trading conditions are simply terrible. The typical scheme is at work here: first, they create the illusion of quality on a demo account, and then, when you start trading with real money, you’re confronted with the harsh reality. In other words, you won’t be able to make a single cent here. So there’s no point in trading here, unless your goal is to guarantee that you’ll lose your deposit; in that case, 9CENTS is a great option!
I decided to try out the trading platform by starting with a demo account. At first, my experience was excellent: trades were executed instantly, the charts ran smoothly, and MetaTrader 5 worked without the slightest lag or freeze. Everything looked very professional, profitable, and top-notch — no requotes, clear prices, and a stable platform. Encouraged by this, I opened a live account and deposited $500 on 9cents.com. And that’s when a completely different story began. On the live account, the charts started to “jump” strangely: candlesticks on the same timeframes (up to M30) looked distorted, discrepancies arose between opening and closing prices, and gaps appeared that weren’t actually present in the market. My trading strategy was based precisely on analyzing small price fluctuations, and it became impossible to trade with such a “picture.” The spreads on the live account turned out to be much higher than on the demo account. Moreover, even during periods of low volatility — for example, during the Asian session — regular requotes and delays in order execution began to occur. There were times when trades would simply “freeze” for a few seconds — something that shouldn’t happen in a normally functioning market. As a result, I lost my entire deposit in 4 days.
How do they stand out from other companies? Essentially, they don’t. They don’t have a Mauritius (FSC) license, which is considered useless in the industry. I also didn’t see any unique offerings. They offer standard terms: a minimum deposit, high leverage, all the same as many other brokers. In short, I didn’t find any competitive advantages at 9cents.com. There are brokers that offer much more attractive terms and additional features that benefit traders.
I fell for the ad and tried to sign up, but the whole thing just froze. I decided to get as far away as possible from this shady offshore intermediary!
The company has not yet gained widespread recognition in the market, but it is actively growing and improving its services. The MetaTrader 5 trading platform is easy to use. Support from 9cents staff includes assistance, consultations, and high-quality educational materials. Attractive trading conditions: a low entry threshold of $100, reasonable spreads, freedom to choose trading strategies, and no commissions.
This platform is complete nonsense, and I mean that seriously… They don’t have a proper license, so they’ll do whatever they want with your money… right up to freezing your account… Look for brokers with genuine, real regulation… This is a typical scam aimed at taking people’s money…
I deposited $15,000 into my PRO account and they immediately restricted my access. The account itself opens, but the charts won’t load and I can’t trade all currency pairs. Meanwhile, on my other account, all the charts open and everything was working fine before I deposited money into this account 😢
At any time, this company may decide that the closing of a position was, in its opinion, incorrect, and WITHOUT A CORRESPONDING ORDER, WITHOUT A CLAIM from the client, and even without notifying the client - to reopen the orders and, depending on market conditions, cause significant damage to the client’s trading system. The client closes the orders and thinks they’ve made a profit, but no!! 9CENTS has its own take on the matter... Technical support responds with standard phrases: File a complaint, they say. But the review will most likely take a long time, and it probably won’t accomplish anything anyway!
